DIRECTIONS FOR GOING FROM MEXICO CITY TO JALCOMULCO (ALDEA®)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

We recommend you allow 1 hour within Mexico City to arrive at the toll booth and 3 ½ hours more of highway driving. It is important to bide your time so as to arrive in JALCOMULCO while it is still light.

  1. Take the Puebla toll road, passing the toll booth at San Martin, and continuing on past Puebla. When you see the Cuauhtemoc Stadium on your right, you will see signs for PEROTE CUOTA (toll road to Perote). Take this exit.

  2. The toll road from AMOZOC to PEROTE is 119 km long, including the bypass around Perote. You will go through 3 toll booths on this part of the trip which is a straightaway that allows you to go at a constant speed of 120 kms/hour. This stretch of road ends up being the bypass around Perote which is the last divided section of highway.

  3. From this point continue on to Xalapa following the road signs.

  4. Upon entering Xalapa, go straight on Lazaro Cardenas. This street crosses Xalapa from one side to the other and becomes the toll road to Veracrz upon leaving Xalapa. After about 20 minutes (approx) of driving you come to a large shopping center-Las Americas-on the right. The signs for “Jalcomulco” and Las Trancas” begin about 500 meters further on. Follow these signs until you arrive. Also follow signs for such camps as Mexico Verde. From Las Trancas to Aldea® is 40 kms. On this stretch there is a “T” in the road where you should turn left, 7 kms before reaching Coatepec. There are signs. 15 minutes further on there is a “Y” in the road where you should go left following the signs for Jalcomulco.

  5. You should follow all the signs for MEXICO VERDE since ALDEA® is exactly 1 km beyond Mexico Verde. (There is a sign). ALDEA® is on the right, 3 km before Jalcomulco.

Total time from Mexico City-4 ½ hours, from Puebla 2 hours and from Veracruz City-1 hour.

The telephone at ALDEA® in Jalcomulco is 279-832-3751 (50).
