10 RECOMMENDATIONS BEFORE GOING TO ALDEA®

  1. Don’t forget your camera.

  2. If you have binoculars, this is the time to use them.

  3. Don’t bring food and drinks, you are not allowed to bring them into ALDEA®.

  4. If you are going to go rafting, bring a dry change of clothes for when you get out of the water. Wear tight-fitting sandals or tennis shoes that you can get wet. All terrain shoes are best.

  5. Bring appropriate clothes-shorts, swimming suits, sandals, tennis shoes, t-shirts and a light jacket and hat. You’ll want the jacket for the trip, especially during the winter months.

  6. Stick some insect repellent in your bag.

  7. It is important to leave Mexico City very early (6 am) or to wait until about 11 am so as to avoid the traffic to Puebla. If you’re coming from somewhere else, anytime is fine, but do arrive during daylight hours.

RECOMMENDATIONS DURING YOUR STAY AT ALDEA®

  1. Please pay attention to the instructions given by our personnel, especially in relation to safety.

  2. In ALDEA® we have tried to keep trees and the environment natural. Be careful with low branches and always be alert. Low intensity light is part of this environment.

  3. At ALDEA® we use insecticides with natural components which are less aggressive than chemical ones. Therefore you may find some insects in the rooms but you may be assured that they are harmless. Before putting on clothes and shoes, inspect them. Remember if you see insects, that we have invaded their spaces, not the other way around.

  4. Please drink alcoholic drinks in moderation, or better yet, avoid them.

  5. Try to go to sleep early enough so that you can get up early the next morning and be full of energy, you’ll need it for the day’s activities.

  6. If you come with children, for their safety always keep an eye on them in the playground and tree houses.

  7. Plan on leaving our installations on the last day of your visit early enough so as to avoid the traffic-between 11 am and 1 pm on Sundays or long weekends or at the end of vacation periods.
